Ashley is a mental health advocate for Service Members, Veterans, and families ensuring appropriate resources are available and accessible. As the Chief Grants Officer & Veteran Advocacy representative she seeks opportunities and builds relationships with funders so that our programs can operate sustainably. She is also involved in various Veteran advocacy projects focused on Veteran mental health. She is a national and local representative for the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. Ashley is an Army Veteran who served for seven years with two Iraq deployments; 2004 and 2008. She finished her enlistment as a Sergeant with a Combat Action Badge, three Army Commendation Medals, an Army Achievement Medal, and two good conduct medals. After service, she completed her bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the University of Maryland University College and her master’s degree in human behavior from Capella University. Ashley currently resides in Oregon with her husband, who is an Army Veteran, and their son.
