Amber Johnson

Amber Johnson was born and raised in Florida into a large and patriotic military family and moved to Houston, TX to attend the University of Houston. After graduation her military family resided in many states across the country where she began her work in non-profit as a military advocate.
Amber has over 15 years of non-profit experience and during her career advised other countries military representatives in creating support programs for injured miliary and surviving family members, including the UK and New Zealand. For many years Amber served on a coalition in Washington DC, in an advisory capacity that led strategy in policy change, direct support services and evolving care for families of fallen military heroes.
Amber received her Executive MBA in 2020 concentrated in strategic growth and organizational leadership. Today her focus remains working with veterans and families on several mental health and wellness initiatives, as well and funding several mental health and direct support programs.
 
In her spare time, she sits on 3 different non-profit volunteer committees including the Tora Tora Tora (WWII Aviation Education Program), the Gold Star Liaison for the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo Armed Forced Committee, and the military/tenant liaison for the Wings Over Houston Airshow.
